Since the Phenom will run on AM2 will you (or do you) use an AM2 setup?
I already am on AM2 and plan to stay.
I was already planning to move to AM2.
I am moving to AM2 because it will support the Phenom.
I am waiting till the Phenom is out for a while but will consider it.
I am an AMD Fanboy.
I am an Intel Fanboy.
I am not considering an AM2 setup at all.
I don't care as long as I can get my email.

I couldn’t get the smile off my face when I received the invitation to review this piece of gear. The “not yet released in the US” Philips 190G6 19" LCD monitor. I’d seen some promotional pictures of it and heard this was touted to be a great monitor for “gaming” and I really wanted to see what the hype was all about.

I’m one of the fortunate people who already has LCD monitors at home (I actually use two, side by side) and have become accustomed to the benefits afforded by their brightness and space-saving design. I did a lot of research in choosing the monitors I use, as not all LCD’s are created equal – there’s a raft of features that determine whether the monitor is good for gaming, movie watching, or just plain word processing. I was hoping that the former would be true in this case – not the latter.

About Philips

Royal Philips Electronics (based in the Netherlands) is Europe's largest and one of the world's biggest electronics companies. Some of their major innovations over the years include the analogue cassette, compact disc, tubular fluorescent lighting, X-ray systems, MRI and Ultrasound (for medical use), a raft of semiconductors and components, the recordable DVD and of course their Philishave electric razor. Sufficed to say, when it comes to making shiny gear for the geek corner of the world, they have their bases covered – they do everything from stereos, TV and home theatre systems, portable music players, optical storage (the list goes on and on) and of course, PC monitors.
