Introduction

SteelSeries is all about gaming. Producing gaming keyboards, surfaces, headsets, mice, software and accessories, they cater to the gaming market only. That's quite evident from their track record. They've sponsored numerous gaming clans and teams. They've used that experience to design some of the best gaming products available.

SteelSeries S&S was developed in cooperation with the legendary SK.swe Counter-Strike team back in 2003 and 2004. This is a team that won six major international grand-slam titles in the same period, who will forever be remembered as one of the most successful Counter-Strike teams in the history of gaming. Together we created a product that met their high demands for performance. The surface of this pad has been updated and improved as of January 2007.

That's the case with the SteelPad S&S. It has real gaming behind it's development. It's been tested and tweaked until absolutely perfection was reached. Does all this add up to a mouse pad that makes the grade or is it just not worth the price tag?
