I'll start by saying this is really less of a review of a fan and more of a, "Hey, look what Bill has in stock!" kinda thing. You see Bill "mnpctech_guy" Owen is a friend of mine and because of that, this will probably turn out to be a rather biased review. S'okay, I can live with that.
Bill has probably contributed more to the art of case modding than any single individual I know. I don't know where the guy gets the time and inspiration to just keep knocking out one superb project after another... but he does. In addition, between writing in-depth how-to's for beginners, gracing the covers of magazines and building rigs for corporate giants like Harley Davidson, he manages to keep a presence in many modding forums offering welcome advice and words of encouragement. I'm proud to say I'm on the build team with Bill and some of PC Apex's best modders for the Pimprig Tribute Case Project. It's mostly Bill and the other guys building something really cool and me saying, "Damn guys... that's really cool. And yes, it should be water cooled", but I'm okay with that.
As well as being a fixture in the PC Apex forums, and one of the planets premiere case modders, Bill owns and operates MNPCTECH Pro Case Modding and Supplies. That brings us to why we are here today. In addition to some truly unique case modding supplies you simply won't find anywhere else, mnpctech.com offers a few models of my favorite fans, that being Panaflo. "What?", you say, "The title says NMB fan!". Well NMB is now making the same famous Hydro Wave bearing Panaflo models previously manufactured by Panasonic. These are among the first of their kind to hit the US market and they include a 3-pin connector and a RPM signal wire so often absent with Panasonic fans.
Specs
Here are the specs from NMB's website:
Model: FBL12G 12L
Rated Voltage: 12
Operating Voltage: 7.0 ~ 13.8

Amp Rating: .24

Package
The fan was extremely well packaged and suffered no damage in transit... and not one freakin' peanut. The fan itself is simply shrink-wrapped with the three pin connector and Bill's card on top. I like it, simple and no wasted packaging to fill up the garbage can.
