Those people who can't bear to take a Dremel to something they just purchased, or to get any kind of style out of their machine, usually purchase a "pre-mod" case... something with a bit of flair that they are unable or unwilling to do by themselves. While this approach takes the individuality out of your box, it does provide the option to have styles that would be exceedingly difficult to replicate.

Case in point (no pun intended) is the Bat case from the SanSun Group out of Taiwan. A quick Google search will find several reviews of this case, as well a link to the company's website itself. However, I couldn't find this case for sale at the normal internet outlets such as Newegg.com, Directron.com, Xoxide.com, or Tigerdirect.com at the time this review was written. It appears that this case is being marketed directly to retail stores themselves or others in the distribution channel, as the SanSun's information on this case will tell you how many will fit in a shipping container (390 for a 20' container in case you were wondering.) So if you just have to have it; unless you happen to see this case at your local store, you will have to contact them directly.

On with the review...

Package

You can see that the carton has been designed for shelf appeal, being a full color litho print job which clearly shows the case and the color options. Since the design was completed SanSun has added a full black case as shown in the above picture. If you can read Chinese, they also have thrown in a bit of extra packing for your enjoyment.

Here's what lies underneath:
